The New York Yankees, fresh off a walk-off loss to the Mets in the Summer Subway Series have made the first big splash of the 2022 Trade Deadline. The Yankees acquired Andrew Benintendi Wednesday night for three prospects.
It has been reported that the Yankees sent Beck Way, Chandler Champlain and TJ Sikkema to the Royals for Benintendi. Per MLB Pipeline, Sikkema (LHP), is Yankees’ No. 19 prospect, Beck Way (RHP), No. 21 and Chandler Champlain (RHP) not listed in the organizations top 30 list.
